Explosives & Gadgets
A mix of thrown explosives and handy standalone gadgets.
Explosives
All three are thrown (right-click to lob) and detonate the instant they hit something — no lit-fuse delay — and none of them start fires. All craft 8 at a time at a vanilla crafting table.
| Explosive | Blast power | Breaks blocks? | Feel |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grenade | 1 | No — entities only | Safe to use near your base |
| Bomb | 2 | Yes* | A bit weaker than a creeper (3) |
| Dynamite | 4 | Yes* | TNT-equivalent blast |
* Block-breaking respects the world's mobGriefing rule — turn it off and even Bomb/Dynamite won't damage terrain.

Accelerator Clock
The activator for the Pedestal crop accelerator. On its own it does nothing — seat it on a Pedestal and that pedestal starts fast-growing crops in a 9×9 area. Think of it as the pedestal's "battery."

Antidote Potion
Drink it while looking at a zombie villager within ~3 blocks to instantly cure it back into a villager — no weakness potion, golden apple, and 5-minute wait. Stacks to 16.

Fiber
An early-game string substitute. You get it by breaking leaves with a Flint Knife (1–2 fiber per leaf block, ~50%). Combine 4 fiber → 1 string at a vanilla table — handy before you've found sheep or spiders. It's a drop, not a crafted item.
Mortar
A reusable crafting tool — it's used as an ingredient in a few recipes (e.g. brewing a plain water bottle) and returned intact afterward, so a single mortar lasts forever.
